Ash Open Plan Staircase With Glass Stub Risers

With this staircase the main goal was to allow the staircase to be the feature of the hallway whilst still allowing for an uninterrupted view of the garden space behind the staircase. In order to best achieve this we elected to design an open plan staircase with glass balustrade which enables an uninterrupted view of both the hallway and outside areas.

The steps of the staircase are made from American White Ash with glass stub risers to add more fluidity to the space.

The staircase was finished with a black stain throughout so that it matches the internal doors and other joinery in the property.
