Edwards & Hampson: Established In 1971
Established in 1971 edwards & Hampson have been supplying both private and business customers with bespoke joinery, including staircases, windows, doors as well as a variety of other crafted items.
All of our products are made by true craftsmen who, starting as apprentices, have honed their craft and are able to produce complicated joinery products, whether it be curved staircases, bi-folding doors or box frame windows. All items are made using traditional design principles but with modern joinery techniques and technology, allowing us to made classical pieces at a fraction of the potential cost.
We are proud of our roots and have been operating within the north Liverpool region for over 50 years with employees coming from the local region and our practices hoping to improve the local community.
Family Owned & Run
Edwards & Hampson was founded in 1971 by Peter Edwards & his then partner and has been owned and operated by the family over three generations, with the current management including Mr Edwards as well as his grandson but with multiple members of the family extended and otherwise taking a major role.
This culture moves beyond the core family and imparts itself throughout the workforce, with multiples apprentices who started in their teens still working for the firm into their 50’s & 60’s and with almost all staffing additions coming at the apprentice level the future looks bright.
Products You Can Trust
Our products are all made expertly in the UK at our manufacturing facility in Liverpool and installed by out expert fitting team, using the finest materials. We source our materials from timbers including Oak, Ash, Pine and Walnut and machine them from raw wood into the products you see.
We have experience and expertise in a variety of other materials as well as timber, with our staircases incorporating other materials such as metal with steel and iron as well as glass coming in various thicknesses, designs and patterns.
