Ash Open Plan Staircase – Tinted Glass Balustrade

Design:

This continuous open-plan staircase is designed to maximise space and create a strong sense of flow across multiple levels. Its clean lines and open structure allow the staircase to integrate seamlessly within the home, enhancing both light and visibility throughout.

Materials:

Constructed from timber and paired with a glass balustrade, the staircase combines warmth with a contemporary edge. The client selected a subtle blue-tinted glass, introducing a third tone that complements both the natural timber and the light interior finishes.

Layout:

Spanning multiple floors, the staircase connects to a galleried landing that overlooks the living space below. This open layout enhances the sense of height and openness, while creating visual connections between floors and adding an extra layer of architectural interest.
