Open Plan Staircase, Glass Strips

When you have a continuous galleried area looking over your hallway you need it to be both an intimidating feature, as well as an object that lets in as much light as possible. This is made increasingly more relevant by the large front doors and screen which lets in natural light and making sure that this is not wasted is crucial.

With this we chose to have a completely open plan staircase with glass strips running up the balustrade, for the overall style we chose minimal meaning square newels and flat cappings, completing the modern feel.
