Carpeted Ash Staircase, Glass Strips

Looking at your old staircase in the corner of the room and thinking its old and needs a change, but what can be done to make it look modern and fresh. This staircase was old and tired, reflecting style prevalent in the 70’s, not suitable for todays modern home.

We replaced the newel posts, base rail, added new glass strips instead of spindles and then added a new handrail, finishing it off with stringer linings to cover the old white softwood which used to dominate this hallway.
