Oak Open Plan Staircase – Clamped Glass Balustrade
Design:
This bespoke staircase is designed to make a bold statement, with oversized proportions and strong, clean lines throughout. The large-scale components and tight spacing between treads create a solid, architectural feel, giving the staircase a powerful presence within the space.
Materials:
Constructed from timber with refined detailing, the staircase features walnut inlays running through the treads, up the newels and along the stringer. The substantial newels, formed from 180mm square sections, reinforce the robust design while adding a premium finish. A simple glass balustrade provides contrast and maintains a sense of openness.
Layout:
The staircase is designed with a reduced gap between treads, enhancing its visual weight and structure. A square curtail step projects from the base, adding a subtle but distinctive feature that complements the overall bespoke detailing.
