Colonial Style Staircase with Panelled Newels

This Colonial Style Staircase is made in American White Oak to match the existing wood elements around the house, our customer had a very outdated and boxed staircase, and they wanted the space to breath and the new staircase to stand out.

We manage to meet their request by featuring the entrance to the staircase with a Curtrail Step followed with a Bullnose Step and the customer decided to have the wood exposed making them different to the rest of the steps which they carpeted.

Another element that makes this staircase unique are the Panelled Newel Posts that go perfectly with the panelling the customer decided to add to the walls.

The customer decided to plaster the back of the stairs and leave it exposed which gave the space the amplitude that the customer was looking for and added a little storage under the first landing.

Timber Type: American White Oak
