Oak Staircase – Embedded Glass Balustrade – Continuous Handrail

This staircase is designed to complement the overall aesthetic of the home with a clean, minimal approach. The continuous handrail and newel posts are mitred together at the same height, creating the impression of a single, uninterrupted piece of timber and reinforcing the simplicity of the design.

Materials:

Crafted from Oak, the staircase combines natural warmth with refined detailing. The balustrade features 10mm toughened glass, seamlessly embedded within the handrail and base rail to maintain a smooth, uninterrupted finish.

Layout:

The design focuses on subtle detailing, including discreet shadow gaps within the newel posts that reveal themselves on closer inspection. These finer elements add depth and character, ensuring the staircase remains understated while still delivering a strong visual impact.
