Traditional Staircase, Carpet Runner
For their staircase the client wished to have a traditional feel to be in keeping with their home and allow it to compliment their furniture and overall decor. With that we recommended a Warwick style, as the turned newels and spindles offer traditional but with a modern twist.
On top of this the space for the staircase is large, which allows for a thicker cross section when choosing the staircase components, therefor we went for a 120mm cross section on the newel as opposed to a 90m which is standard for most staircases. The client chose to finish the staircase with a carpet runner up the centre, wall paneling running parallel to the stairs and a clear finish to highlight the wood and match the staircase to the rest of the timber.
