Ash Staircase – Turned Spindles & Newel Posts

Design:

This staircase follows a traditional Warwick-style design, featuring turned newel posts and spindles that bring a classic feel while maintaining a clean, refined appearance. The generous proportions give the staircase a strong presence, helping to fill the space and complement the scale of the room.

Layout:

A straight flight layout keeps the staircase simple and practical, allowing the detailing to take centre stage. The addition of a carpet runner softens the overall look, breaking up the timber and introducing an extra layer of texture and visual interest.

Materials:

Constructed in Ash, the light tone of the timber enhances the warmth of the space while working seamlessly with the surrounding interior. The turned spindles and newel posts reinforce the traditional style, while recessed mouldings within the trimmer linings add a finer level of detail to the overall finish.
