Thanks to all of you for the professional and friendly way you have dealt with the update of our balustrade and internal doors.

We had a number of firms round to discuss our thoughts and when Scott came he was full of bright ideas and enthusiasm. Subsequently the moment we walked into your office and workshop we felt a warmth from Edwards and Hampson - a true family firm. Our expectations were exceeded. No questions unanswered. We took a long time deliberating and this was taken on board by EH with patience, gentle guidance and enthusiasm.

The finished article is stunning - beautiful craftmanship and installed by experienced hard working fitters.

We had one or two little hiccups with our new doors, but all immediately dealt with, never once did we doubt this - the joy of a thoroughly professional firm.

We would certainly recommend EH at any opportunity - its rare these days to find such a caring attitude with a first class service.

Thank you for the fantastic door you made and fitted for us. From the quality of the raw materials right through to the craftsmanship which has created a real period style to match the age of our house, we're really impressed.

Alan was absolutely great and went well beyond what was expected, fixing our locks and sourcing additional materials to ensure we got a perfect finish. And not only did he tidy up inside and take all the rubbish away with him, he even swept the street outside the house!

The decorator's all booked in to come and paint it next week, so I'll send you some photos once it's all finished.

I had been recommended to Edwards & Hampson Ltd by a friend, upon contacting them although I needed an appointment of the evening I was informed that would not be a problem. Peter Edwards of Edwards & Hampson arrived promptly at the time agreed, I explained we wanted to have the existing 1960’s staircase replaced with a more modern style and could he provide advice on staircase ideas, what was involved with the installation and how long it was likely to take. From brochures and pictures of staircase installations Edwards & Hampson had carried out , we identified a style we preferred. We felt Peter made time for us to be sure about our decision and even provided samples of the staircase spindles we had selected from his car in order that we could be sure about our selection. Peter also provided ideas regarding the finishes on the staircase and on his recommendation we decided we would paint the spindles white and clear varnish the oak hand and bottom rails. On the installation date agreed Edwards & Hampson staff arrived on-time, and worked efficiently and with care. Any mess was kept to a minimum and they ensured where they had been working was thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day. We were also pleased that they completed the work in the timeframe stipulated.

Peter Edwards paid us a vist the day after the work was completed to ensure our satisfaction with the work carried out.

I explained that we are very happy with our new staircase and would not hesitate to recommend Edwards & Hampson to our friends and family.

I recently purchased two hardwood solid gates with Edwards and Hampson. I cannot fault the service that I recieved. They gave sound advice and samples not only on the available woods and suitablity, but also advice on recommended tradesmen to paint them. They were constructed and delivered to the painters at no extra charge, fitted without adjustment, look fantastic and worth every penny! I even had to contact them months after they were fitted, as they were damaged by a contractors lorry. Within a week the director himself came and repaired the gate without charge! "
