Ash Staircase, Slender Balustrade

Spindles are the traditional balustrade for staircases, and reinventing the traditional has been a theme in staircases, forever trying to create new and interesting styles. The current designs are ones with minimal shapes that feature one new or different feature, which in this regard is the slender spindle which is thin and cylindrical in the centre and at the top and bottom are square.

The wall side stringer has been turned into a feature in that it is inlayed with LED lights which highlight the stairs and add interesting colour and light patterns. These LED colour are emphasised by the timber being ash which is very light and can be influenced by colours very easily.
